Ceramic Doggie
 Rev. Gordon Barney

This little doggie lives in a small village in Berkshire where he is vicar at St. Mary's Church, he loves all his parishioners, even the grumpy ones. One of his favourite events of the year is the village fete because he is always invited to judge the flower and produce show, Gordon is rather partial to a slice or two of Victoria Sandwich cake.
As you can see Gordon carries his prayer book with him at all times.

Gordon was created, but not ordained, in Marion's studio using Earthenware Clay, once the drying process had finished the doggie was bisque fired to 1000 degrees.
After decorating with stains and clear varnish he was fired once more to 1060 degrees.
Rev. Gordon Barney is 6 inches high ( Yes, he can only just see over the pulpit ) and 2½inches wide. approx
